| Schedule | Our Introduction to QuickBooks course can help you manage your business finances by teaching you to organize your accounts, keep track of customers and vendors, work with invoices, track sales, and pay bills. Intermediate Applications of QuickBooks, which is a continuation of the introductory course, introduces more specialized bookkeeping tasks, such as managing payroll, preparing and analyzing business reports, and setting up budgets. These courses use QuickBooks Pro 2007. While QuickBooks upgrades its product line every year, the software versions maintain the same basic tools and functionality. Beginning users will benefit from our courses, even though they may be using a different version of the software. Note that Intuit's QuickBooks application helps manage accounting and finances in small-business environments. Intuit also offers the Quicken program to help home-users manage their personal finances. Our QuickBooks courses are intended for students who use QuickBooks for small-business accounting. If you need help deciding which class is right for you, call Paul Westermann at (314) 984-9000 or email info@micros.umsl.edu.
