This course shows you what performance means in different types of applications and helps you recognize performance tradeoffs. Learn to fine-tune indexes, optimize queries and stored procedures, and understand query plans. Additional topics include the relationship between locking and performance, using the SQL Server Optimizer, and the relationship between database design and performance.
