Managing a Web Server Using Apache
(Prerequisite: Advanced Applications of HTML, Introduction to UNIX or Managing a Network Using Windows Server, or equivalent experience. Introduction to Networks or Introduction to TCP/IP would also be helpful.) This course covers the administration of the Apache Web Server. Learn how to install, configure, and set up the various parts of the Apache Web Server. Understand how to create Web documents, set up multiple sites, and check traffic statistics. Topics include Web server theory, IP addresses and ports, Apache features, verifying Apache versions, running Apache, stopping Apache, and DNS concerns.
